I just discovered Kinetic Sand by Waba Fun. This remarkable stuff works just like that lake side sand you recall from your childhood but without the mess. It doesn't stick to your hands, it doesn't scatter on the table or the floor; it's anti-microbial. And while I wouldn't recommend eating it, it is safe. I'm bringing it to the gallery.
