Silverwood Park is the newest addition to Three Rivers Park District's magnificent "collection" of parks in Hennepin County, Minnesota. After a particularly dark, cold, and rainy spring, Silverwood's rain gardens were filled to their edges. I wandered around the park with my camera, the sun came out, and colors glowed. If you live in or near Minnesota's Twin Cities, this park, with its mission of combining nature, ecology, and the fine arts, is a must-see. Friday, May 27, 2011
